IxAP 2016

CHEC organized ACM Symposium on Interactive Technology and Ageing Populations 2016 (IxAP 2016) hosting over hundred participants from 20 different countries working on diversified fields like HCI, Accessibility, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Arts, and Design. IxAP addressed aging as it is associated with a multitude of biological, cognitive, and social changes that impact the use of technology. These issues can seriously hamper usability.

I was happy to serve as the publication chair in IxAP 2016.

First step in PhD

Good news!

Dr. Silpasuwanchai, Research Associate at KUT succeed to win a 5M JPY research grant by MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) in Japan. The project aims to study motion video games for cognitive enhancement of elderly people.

I was truly grateful for closely working with Dr. Silpasuwanchai. It was a valuable opportunity for me to gain experience in writing research fundings.
